Thanks for the reply gtop00,

we are using Amember in order subscribe new users to xoops. We added a cutom feature to Amember that allows us to "upgrade" users to another XOOPS group. We simply created a page called something like: upgrade.php?price_group=-3 ...

3= XOOPS group club.

The problem with this, is that everyone can join, so theres no moderated options here... What happens if you want a private community... can't work out like this.

now i'm thinking of hacking my way into amember instead of xoops.

#OOPS#o everyone,
i'm looking for someone who can help me figure this core hack. I'm creating somekind of Club Module, where my regular members can become part of "Sub communities". Users must register, and if moderator of this community accept, he receives permission to restricted pages.

The method i'm using is with the XOOPS Groups. I basicaly create a new group for every "clubs", and when someone becomes a member, their user profile receives that "Xoops group".

Now i'm looking for a way for the moderator to be able to give those special access... the only way i know of is with the admin backoffice... But there must be a way a "club leader" can "upgrade" a user with correct XOOPS group.

I really need this feature, and willing to pay someone to complete this. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone,
i am looking for someone with experience in XOOPS module programming. This individual will need to provide sample of work he/she did using that technology. I have a limited budget to create this work.

Our website is about 80% finished and ready to be launched, but we need to do a few modifications inside the modules to customize the look and feel of the site.

1. Using a module known as "CatAds" we want to add a few functionnalities that would turn this program into a "Freelance" service. We have beginned scripting a new "freelance module" from scratch, but we decided to go with CatAds since they have most of the functionnalities we want. We will give you accesss to what we already have (CatAds + FreeLance) to merge and integrate new stuff.

2. Private group networking. We want a place where our members could join private networking clubs (Ex: Business owners group, Young people in business group...). Users would be allowed to join these groups that are moderated. I was thinking intergrating the NEWBB module, or the news module to make this. This should take a few hacks inside the module.

Once again, we want to see your past work. And we also want to talk to you before in private (Webconference) before we hire. For those who do good work, we have other work opportunities comming up in one week or two.

Please private message me if you are interested of doing this work.
