OMFG - I think I know what I did wrong. I just copied and paste. I forgot to add my url instead of x_url. duh! Again, thank you for helping. You rock. I'll fix it now.

Thank you, that worked my PM link is there, however when you click on it, it brings me to a page that can not be found.

OK that worked for admin but it doesn't work for registered users

any other suggestions?

how about the directories and files? how do we give permissions for that?

My new members are getting the pm link on their profile page but all of the members previous the 2.2 update still have no pm link. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem. I have unistalled and reinstalled it already.

are you talking about the firefox browser. And if so, the people using IE will still have problems.

I did as you said and it did state that the pm link was installed but it is still not there.

It was my fault. When XOOPS site was down I downloaded the wrong 2.2 and uploaded it the wrong way. Duh! I still have no PM link. When I did an update this showed up at the bottom of the pm update.

NOTICE: pm_link exists - skipped

WOW, just checked out my xoops_version.php and it only goes to line 117 and has no // at the begining of my lines. WTF?

I am having exact same problems as Cat. on the PM & redirect. As like Cat, my PM is very important.
