Something new about my PM link in 2.2

My new members are getting the pm link on their profile page but all of the members previous the 2.2 update still have no pm link. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem. I have unistalled and reinstalled it already.

Yes this problem has been driving me crazy!

For both Frash installs and upgrades I have this problem on many sites...

To fix this bug, you must execute a SQL query with phpMyAdmin or other. Replace prefix by your database prefix table.
UPDATE `prefix_user_profile` SET `pm_link` = '<a href="javascript:openWithSelfMain(''{X_URL}/modules/pm/pmlite.php?send2=1&to_userid={X_UID}'', ''pmlite'', 550, 450);" title="Write a message to {X_UNAME}"><img src="{X_URL}/modules/pm/images/pm.gif" alt="Write a message to {X_UNAME}" /></a>'

Thank you, that worked my PM link is there, however when you click on it, it brings me to a page that can not be found.

Do you have the PM module allready installed on your XOOPS ? Do you have this file : modules/pm/pmlite.php ?

OMFG - I think I know what I did wrong. I just copied and paste. I forgot to add my url instead of x_url. duh! Again, thank you for helping. You rock. I'll fix it now.

Nope, that was not it. Yes, I have bothe pm module already installed and the pmlite.php. Should I try re-installing it?
