It looks fine to me, one is a physical path and the other is a virtual path.

Also how did you manage to look at my mainfile.php? Isn't that a security risk?

My xdirectory module now generates an error when visitors try to submit listings. The error flashes up so quickly I can't see exactly what is wrong so if you can help please try it yourself at aylesburyonline.lamtha2.co.uk

It seems a bit strange that something that was previously working has now stopped but to be honest as a newb to XOOPS I am finding that this is par for the course - I have had no end of problems with this application working one minute and then needing to be reinstalled.

Yesterday my text alignment was all wrong and my admin screen was blank. Today I try it on a different computer and everything is fine. Very confusing.

same problem here - system admin controls the alignment of the blocks not the alignment of the text within the blocks. The text is aligned centre instead of left justified.

All text throughout my side has started aligning to the centre instead of the left. I have reinstalled several times and it makes no difference. I suppose there is something wrong with my default template - can anyone help? thanks

mmmm the wizards working now BUT..

I am now having trouble migrating the site that I created locally onto my hosting co.

Here's what I have been doing:

- put a fresh install of XOOPS on hosting co
- upload and import locally created sql db

When I go to my url I just get a blank screen

What is the correct procedure for transfering XOOPS to a new domain?

thanks

Trying to do a new install and I get

XOOPS path check: Script is not inside XOOPS_ROOT_PATH and cannot run.

As the install hasn't been completed yet there is no rootpath yet in mainfile.php so I am a bit puzzled.

Thanks

Thank you, zips, bzip, gzip it's all greek to me. Seems a but off that phpmyadmin would be able to export as zip but not import it. Anyway it's sorted now so thank you.
