Good morning karedokx,
Just wanted to give you a quick heads up.. I just replaced the php file with the one your zipped for me, and I am heading in to start setting up my R & R's again. I will come in here later and tell you how things are going.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the time you have put in to this... although I don't know how long it took you to modify this.. this was just way too kind of you.

Thanks so much!

Oh.. and I forgot to mention.. last night I went ahead and made that change from title to weight.. I made the change with notepad... maybe I should not be modifying php files with this editor? I also have Dreamweaver, but anyhow, then I started getting the blank page.
I was able to click on my back button last night to get back into admin after I went back to the php file and changed it back to title.. but the blank pages continued to occur.

When I made my way back into the admin area this morning, I went in and turned on php debug, and ran that, still no luck, then went in and updated system... still nothing.

Basically... I don't know what I did.. lol... that is scary I know, but I am not too familiar with the types of editors or tools I need to be modifying php files, so this could possibly be the prolem?

Thank you karedokx,
just wanted to jump in here and thank you for providing this. Just downloaded it.. I will message back tomorrow, Earlier this morning, not long after I posted, I ended up managing my way back into the admin area, and then uninstalling and reinstalling the WFSection.

I am going to try to set this up again tomorrow morning when I am more awake, and then if I have this menu problem again, I will be adding your modification, which I have a feeling I will be.

I will let you know the turn out tomorrow.. I have running like crazy today with school stuff, and haven't been able to sit down much to the site.

Thanks so much for your response and your WONDERFUL help

Hi karedokx,

I have a question that maybe you could help me with.
I've decided to just try the 2.07 beta 3, and for the most part, things seem to be working fine, but I am now encountering a problem with how the sections are displaying in the left block (Main Menu)

No matter what I seem to change, the top 2 sections should be in reverse order to what they are. It's odd because they show up everywhere else in the correct order, in the section box, the main rate & review page, but I've tried altering weight, and then tried updating the module, I read somewhere that there are issues with the sections in wf, but I'm not seeing what the specific problems were.. would you have any idea what this problem could be? Or how I can fix it?

Thank you for your kind words of my website karedokx.

Still a little ways to go.. hopefully up and running w/in 2 weeks.

I am having a hard time finding the wf-section.css- could this be a .php file I would need to change, I'm not finding any css files in wf?

I would go in and change my theme text size, but I don't think that is the problem as I don't have the same thing happening with the reviews I entered in through tinyd.
(tinyd is what I originally started using until I realized there was no rate option available.. then I was guided to the wf-section) I need to take the tinyd down off the site though.

Maybe it is in the theme though? hmmmm.... I'm going to have to play with this a bit I think.

(I forgot to mention- yes that is the section that you mentioned that my text is too small in )

Thanks!

Thank you so much for your response karedokx-

I think I will try that on the WF- upgrading to the next version.
I really like it, and it seems very easy to use... so far

I obviously don't know that I will run into the same problem on the 2.0.7 version, but just in case, would you by chance know which file I would need to go in to for modifying if the text comes out so tiny again? You can see what I mean by going to that section of my site.. it is so small I can barely read it- and I believe I have it set to 12pt in my html coding.

Again, I appreciate your time,

Colleen

I'm just wondering.. I downloaded and installed the WF-Sections, and I think the module is wonderful!

I did, however, see a post regarding security issues in the version 2.01, I believe, that I have.

I see there is a new version out, I am not a programmer, but I follow directions well as to modifying something if I have to... but I have asked a couple of questions regarding a couple of problems I am currently having with the wf-sections version on my site, and have not received a response.

I asked these questions in the wf developers forum, and I have asked 1 other here, and so I guess I just really want to find out if there is any support for this module anymore before I decide to upgrade to the version 2.0.7?

This module has so many features that I need, but there are some problems that I am having with it that need to be addressed, even if someone responded to me saying that what I was encountering is a bug that is fixed in a soon-to-come version... I don't care, but I just want to make sure that I don't incorporate this into my site and can't get help if I run into any problems.

Please note- In no way am I disrespecting anything or anyone here. The person/team who designed anything and everything here, knows a heck of a lot more than I will probably ever know, and I appreciate all the hard work.. But if I knew tomorrow that XOOPS was going to discontinue their work on the XOOPS in general- I couldn't continue to use the XOOPS script, due to my lack of programming knowledge.

Thank you all for your efforts in this project... if someone wouldn't mind letting me know, regarding the WF modules.. are these being supported?

OOPS! Real quick and maybe I'll go ahead and post my question again:

If you go to my site, you can see the link on the left that says RATE & REVIEW- if you click on that it displays one of my reviews, the top dropdown link... which comes up as article does not exist when it is clicked on. When I scroll over it, it is showing as articleid=0. I have tried everything I can think of to get that article in the main menu to stop showing up-
Any way of disabling this from showing up at all in my menu? I just want the topics/categories to show up there. Possibly something I need to do in MySQL database?

2nd question... I am entering my html coding in as I would to tinyd for my rate & review articles in the WF-Section, and the text that I enter in ends up showing up very tiny. when the link is clicked on and displayed in real-time.

Is there a section that I can change the size of how the text is displaying to the public in WF-Sections?

Again.. thanks for all you guys do- once I go live with my site, you WILL be receiving a donation from me for your work.

I'm sorry to bother again... would you mind giving me a brief idea of what wrapping an html document is and how to do it?

I was assuming this meant that if I place the url to the document it would pull that document into my theme, but it doesn't seem to be working for me, so I think my assumption may be wrong

If you wouldn't mind letting me know how this feature is used... it seems like it might add a little simplicity to my project if it is for what I think it is for.

As of now, I have html docs that are uploaded to my server, I am just pulling the code and entering it into a new document and creating my displayed document through WF Sections in this way, but if I were able to enter a url and have it pull from there, it seems that would be easier... maybe I am completely confused though as to what the wrap feature should be used for.

Thanks for the help!

Thank you for your response!
I'm reading through this now and it seems so far to be exactly what I am looking for.

I appreciate your help
