FIXED

I added back the YIM, MSN, AIM, ICQ fields to the extended profiles module and it now works again.

I will file this as a bug.

EDIT: You also need to rm -f templates_c/*.php !!!

I only found this out after updating to 2.2.3 RC so I can't tell if you need to upgrade for the fix to work.

Seems to be working for me "so far",time will tell...
Thanks gravies...

I thought i had this one sussed, our disclaimer was not active so we switched it on and tried a new registration, that worked for one user but the error has arisen again. This is NOT a http_refferer issue, as i have tried with za blocking private header information and received the page telling me howto switch the block off.

An update or some help from the XOOPS dev team would be greatly appreciated from quite a few users on here.

Yep, go back to NewBB 1. Had to do this last week as so far, afaik there isn't a fix for it and may not be, as this error is not easily reproduced, and so far only a handful of us are having this issue. If you do go back to NewBB 1, remember you'll lose ALL your posts :(

Been back on NewBB 1 for over a week now, and not a problem what so ever, it's bliss (except those horrible icons, they're rancid lol)

Hi all, since your such a nice friendly informative bunch, i thought i'd ask here. I'm currently trialling a weather feed from a site in the U.S. Looks great but one problem.

The've given me a couple of test url's and .dtd files and i haven't got a clue on what to do with them, but i know how i want it to work lol. I want to integrate the feed from there server into xoops, and have the results displayed on the mainpage for the user to see(with a search box for locality). Is there a module that can take care of this for me, if not could someone advise me on what to do ??

Thanks for the reply JD, However i don't see how it's going to help here. I have not updated from newbb 1, this is a fresh install of newbb 2.02, and i don't use custom templates , and this error shows up on submitting a post

Well, thought i'd try something at getting this problem sorted out, however, didn't work :( Tried removing the module completly, and using a fresh download of it, also removing traces of newbb in the database. First post lastnight came up with this

I have a similar error to RiP with the MySQL debug on.

SELECT * FROM xoops_config WHERE (conf_modid = 17) ORDER BY conf_order ASC
SELECT * FROM xoops_tplfile WHERE (tpl_tplset = 'default' AND tpl_file = 'partners_block_list.html') ORDER BY tpl_refid
-300
Error number: 1064
Error message: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-300' at line 1

Xoops version 2.0.10
NewBB 2.0.2

I too am having the same problem on my site, error comes up intermittently and isn't easily replicated. Most of the time when this happens, it's replying to a post, but not all the time, can happen on a new post as well.

At first, I thought it was only myself, but other user's are reporting the same issue, so that rules out any Internet security, firewall that may be running.

Yesterday, on hope it would clear this error up, I updated the site to 2.0.10, and updated NEWBB to 2.02(was 2.01 as far as I knew)But the problem still remains.

Also, alot of posts already sub, itted popping upLike This
