Hello,
I've asked this on xoops.org before on a previous install but did'nt get anywhere. Any idea why this is happening with smileys ( see screenshot )

perhaps best i reset the smilies tables ?

Hiya m0nty thanks for your reply, sorry yes details are vague,
using XOOPS 2.2.x
X-IPB 1.5x
this is system wide not one module,

The only thing i have done is, i replaced all the system ones, using ipbs smiley management system - the reason this isnt mentioned is due to the fact i just couldnt see how ipb would break them for XOOPS yet let them to continue working within there own system.

sadly the site there on i have gone to great measures to removes any form of smiley posts in modules but if need be of course i can pop a few up for example

Hello,
for some strange reason, im having issues with smilies not showing the image but rateher the html code, but as its showing them it displays the path as /www.example.com/uploads/randomsmiley.gif

the image is there, but just fails to show, ive tried searching but not found a resolution to this one, any ideas ?

Sounds like you have not uploaded .htaccess file, could be wrong ofcourse.

not to sound tetchy, but has or is anyone actually developping an SMF bridge of any kind, Seems this post has drifted into an NewBB promotion subject :|. Although newBB/CBB is not by any means a bad product, its just not everyone's personal choice.
