I want to post a bunch of urls that look like this:

http://somesite.com&SID=_____

The blank is the users id from my site. For example bobby is user 8 on my site (looking at the uid on xoops_users table). When he looks at this page he sees a bunch of links and when he clicks on them they go to:

http://somesite.com&SID=8

This is so I can track who goes to the sites and completes an offer (I'm an affiliate) at those sites. Does that make sense?

I figured out how to call up their id right at the registration page but I'd like to be able to after that. Someone help!

How do I do that? I can add a module if you know of one that works.

But I figure this is a simple coding thing.

I'm running a site for my school and I only want _____@myschool.edu emails to be able to register.

Help!

When I first loaded XOOPS banners worked fine, but I immediately deleted the XOOPS ones.
I installed and tried out a ton of modules and deleted some.
Somewhere along the way possibly something messed with the banner tables and or files.

So now I want to add a banner and it goes through the add a banner and success screen but it doesn't add it! It never goes into the database.

I also noticed that htmlcode and htmlurl aren't in my xoops_banner table and there is an error:
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: htmlcode in file modules/system/admin/banners/banners.php line 168

when I'm in the banner admin menu.

I'm fine with just reinstalling the mySQL and everything, but how!

thanks.

ariah.

pop-up windows on registration page and specific email authorization

Okay two request. I have searched the boards (but as a beginner I probably passed over the right answers), and haven't found how to do these two things.

1) On the registration page I'd like a set of hyperlinks that open to new windows whose urls have a UserID on them. (i.e. the url would behttp://somesite.com/UniqueID=____ the blank being their specific id or registration #) I found this line on the registration page:
$newid = $newuser->getVar('uid'); And figured something in there ought to be what I can add to the end of the url.

Basically the link is for a site I'm an affiliate with so I need a unique id so I can track who completed an offer on the affiliate site. make sense? I hope.

2) I'm designing this website for my college. I only want students at my college to be able to register. SO, when checking the registration form, I want it only to go through if their email is _______@mycollege.edu pretty simple huh?

thanks.

It's running pretty good but there are just a few php errors on the bottom. I'm not sure where to begin. Here is the link to the module:

Any advice on how to do this or if one like this is done? I am thinking I'll just mess with the WF-sections module so that it runs nicely for this.

Any other ideas?

Basically I'd have all the professors at my college listed (it's a small school). Then folks could find a prof and vote a 1-10 rating for them (only once), and they can post comments. The module would average the ratings so you've got a nice listing of all the profs and their ratings.

I'd do the same for classes.

any other ideas?

Okay, I want to make unique links for some of the links I have on the XOOPS site. Basically I want the URL, with a ID= tag that has the persons unique XOOPS member number in it. I'm not quite sure how to do this if it takes a module, or is there a simple code.

To be more specific, I want to run some links of sites I'm an affiliate with, and I need to know when folks complete an offer. So they need the standard URL:http://something.com&SID=__ the blank being their unique number. Hope that explains it.

thanks!

p.s. If there was a way to do that on the registration page that would be sweet.

I'm looking for a polling module that would average different ratings. Basically it's for our school site and I want people to be able to rate profs and classes.

So it would average ratings of 1-10 to give a profs over all score.

seen anything like it?
