I recently upgraded my XOOPS 2.0.9.2 installation to 2.0.10 using the appropriate upgrade and noticed that in my Site Preferences | Mail Setup screen the Mail Delivery Method field shows no options in the drop down.

I know this was working when I had 2.0.9.2 installed.

I would like to use SMTPAuth like I did in my previous installation.

Other fields seem to be fine.

That was exactly what I was looking for.

I would like to install the wf-channel module multiple times to create 3 separate and distinct areas of my web site.

I need these area to show up separately in the blocks administration panel since they will have separate left, right and centre blocks.

I have done this previously with XHLD, but I've noticed that wf-channel references the module's directory in its code and that it cannot simply be renamed under /modules/ as wf-channel1 wfchannel2, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Being a beginner, I use Dreamweaver to visually edit tables for my XOOPS files and labouriously strip out any style tags it inserts.
As I'm learning, I see the limitations of using Dreamweaver for anything to do with XOOPS because of its lack of smarty support. I know there's a module that makes smarty tags show up as valid html tags under Dreamweaver, but it's quite useless for me, since I just want a quick WYSIWIG table tool for layout purposes.

I also use EditPlus to do simple modifications.
I noticed HTML-Kit a few posts above and am going to try that out.

Has anyone written a module to tie in Google Adsense colours into their XOOPS themes?

Are you asking which files use this function or are you asking where this function is defined?

xoops_confirm() is defined in \include\functions.php

It's used all over the place in XOOPS where you see SUBMIT and CANCEL buttons.

Your misunderstanding seems to be with the issue of selling GPL software or software that contains GPL code.
Please see Apple's OSX (using Apple's own public domain Darwin code, itself based on other public domain software) or Redhat, SuSE, et cetra, LINUX (using the LINUX kernel) as examples.

The GPL DOES NOT state that you cannot charge for a download of XOOPS or for XOOPS on a CD.

It DOES NOT state that you cannot charge for GPL software.

It DOES NOT state that you cannot charge for setting up a web site which happens to use XOOPS.

According to the GPL you may charge for software. It is permissable to charge for downloading GPL-covered software as long as that fee covers source and binaries that are available not only electronically but also by mail-order.
A GPL software developer may charge someone for a published version of GPL software on CD or any other media. A developer may charge for support, and even for custom application development using GPL source code.

What the GPL DOES state is that any changes you make to GPL code becomes available to anyone who purchases the modified product, and that they may, in turn, choose to distribute the product for free.

If you are going to make comments regarding legality, like the ones you did in your post, please be very sure of their accuracy.
Less importantly, please also don't make such comments lightly and anonymously.
