change order of forums

I cant figure out how to change the order of appearance of forums within a category.
ie: I have a Regions category, and within that category I have a "Missouri" forum and an "Illinois" forum....right now the Missouri forum appears on top but I want the Illinois forum to be on top. How do I change that?

ok, so I dont move the entire folder, I just move the contents up one level.

my physical path is /var/www/html/xoops right now.

if I move the entire XOOPS folder up one level, would the path then be /var/www/xoops ?

I want my XOOPS main page to be displayed when going to the domain.com instead of having to go to domain.com/xoops.

Do I move the entire XOOPS folder up one level?
and if I do that, are there any changes in XOOPS I'll need to make?

very nice.....however, a little darker than I was looking for.

I know...beggars cant be choosers, but what I was really looking for was just to replace the blue bars with red bars and leave the background and everything else the same.

I appreciate your help and effort.

Request for a Birthday module

I've seen modules on other sites that list "Today's Birthdays" and the site will even send an email to the Birthday boy/girl. I assume it is pulled from the birthdate that is entered into their profile when registering.

anything like that for Xoops?
