No I dont think im running php5.

I have managed to get some of them working. I am still having problems with the shoutbox - I can get it so it is visable on the site but anything you type in doesnt appear in the shoutbox window.

The gallery will install ok but when you click the icon it takes you to a blank screen.

The chatroom automatically kicks you out when you type something in.

These are all modules downloaded from this site so I imagine they are all suitable & are not corrupt.

I have just been sat here reading this & it would appear I have found a good deal:

Space: 500MB
Bandwidth: 20GB
cPanel/Fantastico are included
PHP/Perl/CGI/SSI are included
ASP is included
FrontPage Extensions is included
MySQL: 5
E-Mail Accounts: 10
Subdomains: 10
Domains: 10

This is totally free, & seems very reliable so far.

I have uninstalled all the modules I uploaded & tried uploading them again checking I was doing it correctly. They are all visable in modules on the cpanel, along with all the pre-installed ones. When I open modules from within XOOPS I cant see the ones I uploaded. Im getting really fed up now what am I doing wrong?

Everytime I try & activate a module Ive installed I get this:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home2/mjay/public_html/modules/freecontent/index.php on line 210

Any ideas anyone?

Right, the theme is up & working with my logo thanks to YourHelp I still cant get uploaded modules to work. When I activate them in the control panel them make the whole site blank - is this some kind of conflict with the theme?

Yep im doing everything how it says. When i upload things i cannot select a whole folder I have to select things one by one & upload them in batches of 12 - is this the correct way as it takes ages? Stuffit unstuffs in PC format so it should be ok.

Ive installed XOOPS ok & it appears to be running fine. My problem is that im an idiot.

How do I insert my own logo onto the top of the page, & why cant I seem to be able to upload themes & modules. Ive tried uploading a fairly simple module into public-html, modules, but im sure im doing something wrong as it wont work. The module came from this site so I guess it must be the correct file type.

Im on a mac - so when I download & unzip would this affect the file at all?

Thanks
