I'm using windows xp with apache/mysql/php installed and working fine. I manage to install 2.0.9b without a problem but for some reason the 2.0.7.3 won't go to the next screen when clicking on the next (install wizard at choose language). I tried searching but couldn't find anything to this problem.
Does anyone have an idea? I moved the install folder from 2.0.9b to 2.0.9.3 and it would install but than it would XOOPS won't start up saying error of http server var at includes/commmon.php.
anyone know how to get the xml feed from upcoming.org to work? All links point back to my site instead of upcoming.org. For examplehttp://www.upcoming.org/syndicate/metro/485. Anyone know how to resolve this?
well. It appears to be a patch problem with a patched version of 2.0.7.1 over 2.0.7. I patched it than uploaded it and installed as 2.0.7.1 which seems to break some elements... i dunno why. I just installed 2.0.7. and than uploaded 2.0.7.1 without upgrading the system module and pointing the startup module to news which is what xoops.org is doing.
Nod. I have the same problem. I noticed this usually has to do with blocks like minical which will overstretch the columns. You can selectively remove blocks and it should look like more normal.
Yes. I was using the default one and upgraded to the recent version of news. Either one, I don't see it in the front page. Where do you go to set this? It doesn't appear to be in preferences or the news module. The 4 news block don't seem to do that as well.
gosh. I guess you are right. I shouldn't be so lazy. I'll take a look at the pdf and try to make one. but if anyone sees this and know a good variable length theme that won't break across browsers. That would be nice too.
can someone recommend a variable width theme that doesn't break or acts uniformly in all three browsers? I'm mainly interested in getting a fixed maxed width in the left/right column but that doesn't happen with for example the default theme across all three browsers. It should be fixed even if say there's no middle block or left block.
