When you drill down to read a post, in the personal info for every poster it shows them as being online when they are clearly not.

Any Ideas?

I fixed the problem, the forums became inactive, activated them and all users who have rights could see them.

Now my other problem still remains, about how each users is displayed as online in the forums even when they are not truly online. Any Ideas?

In response to 2). Yes, Group A has module access rights to newBB module and they have access to the category the forum is under.

When Group A accesses newBB they see the category, but they don't see the forum at all.

1). When you click on a topic, and it opens, Every user has "Online" in thier status window, when clearly I am the only user in the "Who's online block"

2). I made a group A, I put 5 users into group A. I assigned Global access rights, and All forum rights to group A. No one else has global access to the forum. When someone who is in Group A logs on, they do not see the forum. Why don't they see the forum they have rights specifically for?

Just as I wrote that above, I found it.

Under groups I needed to check the box so the anon group had access to the Recent Topic Block.

Thanks for all the help.

Under preferences, General, there is a setting "Default Module" Whatever module I set this to it automatically loads it at the first page.

I have Recent topics and News displayed on the top page, but you only see both if you are logged in. If you aren't logged in and you go to the page all you see is news.

So My question is how do I make it so the FIRST page you see, before you log in displays both Recent Topics AND news?

Yes, similar to the XOOPS site, how you have Recent Topics, and Recent Comments on the main page along with News, how do you do this?

How do I display the forums and news when you first load the webpage without being logged in? Is it a template setting?

I know in the XOOPS prefernces I can set the default module for the website, and that default module is loaded at the page first load, but how do I get it to load more than one module or what do I do to make the template display news and forums?

The oldest XOOPS 2 release update I can find is 2.0.3 to 2.0.5. I am still using XOOPS 2.0.0, I need the XOOPS 2.0.0 to 2.0.1, XOOPS 2.0.1 to 2.0.2, and XOOPS 2.0.2 to 2.0.3 updates. I searched on Sourceforge and the oldest upgrade I could find again was 2.0.3 to 2.0.5.

Any help?

Thanks.

Or would I need to upgrade to XOOPS 2.0.7.3 to upgrade the newBB from 1.0 to 2.0rc2??
