Hi,

I think I have XOOPS figured out for the most part, but am missing something. Why is it that some new modules I installed (Invision Power File Manager, Net 2 FTP) aren't available to be shown as blocks? They install properly and show up on the main menu, but don't list on the blocks configuration screen?

thx

Yes. The problem was my Norton Personal Firewall. I figured this out by connecting from another computer and network all together... very strange.

Thanks for the reply.

Something happened when I tried to turn on debug php method. the change seemed to take, but then when I tried to go to the admin screen I got:

"This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed."

Submit repeats this message... Cancel sends me back home.

I've been working on the site for a few weeks until now...

I tried logging out and back in again. I also tried my other admin user -- same symptom.

I am the only admin for this site, and now seem to be locked out.

??

"Edit Template" for UserMenu?

Hi,

I'd like the UserMenu block to show up on my top page, even if a user has not yet logged in. The trick is that I'd like the UserMenu title to show but with no sub items showing. I have been able to do this with the MainMenu and Who'sOnline blocks by editing the template content:

<{if $xoops_isuser}>

MainMenu html or Who'sOnline html...

<{else}><{/if}>

This way the MainMenu or Who'sOnline block shows with no content until the user logs in.

How can I do this with UserMenu? I can't seem to get to the "Edit Template" for UserMenu

Thx!
