Problems with Groups

Hi !

I have problems with the Groups Permissions....

I have added a new Group... so now I have 4 groups....

From less to more Permissions

Anonymous
Register
Colaborator (new Group)
Administrator

The problem I have, is for changing a Register user to Colaborator user, I can choose in two ways of doing....

System-Edit User and System-Groups ... the problem is that in System-Edit User doesn't appear the Colaborator Group.... and in the System-Groups if I want to change a user, I suppose that first I must delete from the Register Group and then Add in the Colaborator Group....


Any tip of help ????

Will you soon add Group Permissions in Links and Downloads Modules like you have done in News Module...

I've found it very useful, and it will be fantastic for me to have Group Permissions in Links and Downloads...

Or any kind of make a hack for having them ???

Hi!

Thanks alot !!!!!!

I installed News v1.21 some days ago, but I had not seen this option...

Now I've activated this option and works very fine !!!!!!!!

Thanks again !!!

Now, I only have the problem with links and downloads, that the solutions would be the same... but those modules doesn't have that option....

On the same topic....

I'm also interested on a Gallery Module...

But I need two very important features for me....

1.- Put watermark to images
2.- Resize of images

Do you know any module or combined processes with a module to be able to do this ???

I've tried some modules and none is able to do this....

Hi!

I have a problem with the Permissions in three Modules...

I've created an additional Group, so I have 4 groups

Administrators, Colaborators, Registered and Anonymous users....

I want to give access to Download and Link module to ALL the Groups....

But I only want that Colaborators and Administratos being able to send contributions to this modules...

But the contributions done by Colaborators, I don't want that they access to the Administration menu... I want that they can do it in the main menu... with the opcions Send a News, Send a File, or Send a Link.... but neither of the other options appearing there...

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.7.3 with the latest News and the standard Downloads and Links module....

Any tip ???
Can you help me please ???

I hadn't seen this message...

I had word a lot with MS-Weather entering all spanish towns... but, as our page is not specialized in weather and we don't want to have problems... I will delete inmediately !!!

Hi Everyone !!!

I've installed the MS-Weather module... a good module !!!

But there is and error, or I don't have it well installed...

If I select the "Predictions"... what appears in the screen is the same weather of today instead of the predictions of the next days...

I've seen in another working web happens the same...

Hi everyone !!!

We've seen in other XOOPS Web, that they do have the Google translation installed...

We do have users from some countries, so we are very interested on being able to install this...

Is is a Module (I haven't found it !!!) or what must I do to install this Google Translation ???
