Just to clarify... I don't check much before adding a translation, but I do check that the guidelines written in the first post of this thread are followed.

would you be able to create a package with just the language files? Or do you mind if I do? I don't like changing other people's work without their approval, but I can't upload a language pack that includes all the core files...

we don't have the portugese br translation yet, I'd be happy to add it if you post it here. And as you suggested, here is the updated list of translations:

gtop00, I'd like to add your Greek translation without the changed mysqldatabase.php core file, if that's ok with you. There were problems reported when we introduced those changes in the core (with the release candidate for XOOPS 2.0.14, I think it was). Also, the change isn't required for the language to work, is it? Because only really necessary core changes, like for example those allowing the language to be selected when installing XOOPS, are accepted.

So if it's ok with you, I can repackage your translation without that one file and then upload it. I hope that's ok, as it would be good to see the Greek translation with the others

The translation has been added to the sourceforge repository, including the minor change you made to the install file. Any change that is required for the translation to function is ok by me - I'll update the guidelines of the original post to include this.

Your Swedish translation has been added to the XOOPS file downloads, with credits. (The sourceforge mirrors will probably take several hours before they are updated.)

I have cleaned up the languages release section on sourceforge.net, and created a XOOPS 2.0.16 Translations release. All your contributions are there, though it might take a bit of time for the download mirrors to be updated.

Credits are listed in the release notes of the XOOPS 2.0.16 Translations release. Let me know if there are any mistakes.

I still need to work on the link from xoops.org, but that will be done soon also. Done. I have added information about language packs to the 'Download XOOPS' page.
