The situation is worse than I first thought.

No one can now log into my site anymore so any help or advice is urgently needed.

I need urgent help please.

I have been running my XOOPS site for about a year and have been trying to install an alternative bulletin board. My efforts really screwed up my site so I've reinstalled 2.09 beta (that was running perfectly before I started messing about with it). My site has now been restored to it's former glory but it will no longer accept my admin reg. I have tried the 'forgotten password' feature but it won't accept that either.

the user details are still available on phpmyadmin but the passwords are of course encrypted.

Does anyone know of a way that I can at least get in as admin in order to sort out this mess?

I've apparently done something really stupid and urgently require some advice on how I can get in.

PS ... It gets worse ... tried to register as a test but won't accept that either

Just a tiny suggestion of an 'Articles' module that goes along the same lines as news, Web Links, Downloads etc.

The content of my XOOPS site, www.martle.com , depends very much on the articles that have been posted. It would be really useful to have such a module where visitors could view 'Most Viewed Articles', 'New Articles' etc.

This is just a suggestion of a module that I would love to see included in the next release unless of course there is a simple hack to include this function?

Thanks Herko all sorted now.

I found the prob .. the Symantic module had checked all my left sided blocks as being not visible

The main thing is that I'm back up and running again

Hi

I have installed XOOPS successfully but there is now one big problem. I have appeared to have lost the column to the left and I'm unable to get into the site as an admin as I'm unable to log on.

I'm reluctant to do a fresh install as I will have lost several days work.

My site ishttp://www.martle.com and I'm desperate for help.

Thank you in advance
