automatically changing the siteurl

Hi, my site is currently at a test server, (Ex.http://tempserver/folder/index.php) my question is, how do I automatically change this address when I transfer it to the actual server? (Ex.http://actualserver/folder/index.php) -- {X_SITEURL} sometimes just don't work.

Hi all --
I have a website that contains around 8 sections and for each section, i have A LOT of static pages (plain HTML)-- please recommend a good module to use, i prefer an easily "categorizable" module. Ex: Section A, (shows HTML pages of Section A only, Section B shows HTML pages of Sec B only.) --

I've tried other modules but there might be a better module out there... please help!

Flexible document manager module

Hi, can anyone recommend a more flexible document manager module -- my site requires document categories, each category should have a description section explaining all the documents (both htm and pdf formats) in that category -- A multi level document manager is preferred. (Section A, subsection a,b,c... Section B, subsection a,b,c... Section C...)

How to highlight search keywords in pages?

Hi, does anyone know how to highlight keywords used in search box? For example, I searched for "language", i want all resulting pages to highlight "language"-currently my search doesn't do that.

Hi everyone!

I've just installed Liaise (version 1.0b2, since i'm using XOOPS 2.03)... looks okay to me, however i like to "duplicate and edit" the form - since i have 5 sections, i require 5 different contact forms. how can i do that with Liaise?

Hi, just a simple question: i have a website in a corporate intranet, How do Idisplay the server date (perhaps in a day month year format)-- I wish to include this in my front page like:

1.) Today is 23 July 200x or

2.) Today is Friday, 23 July 200x.

thanks for that info, i read through Formulaire and Anonymous userstroubleshooting thread and seems that many users have trouble with anonymous "posting" -- do you think that Liaise works better? (I'm running XOOPS 2.3 btw.)

who has experience using Liaise? -- what are your thoughts about it?
