I tried to change the visible blocks in the Top page and differentiate the content for registered users vs. anonymous users, but I'm not succesfull.

It looks like it should be possible since you can choose Show blocks visible in [Top Page] Group [Registered/Anonymous]
in the blocks administration.

How do I do that?

I would like my registered users to be able to send PM's (or possibly emails) to groups or all registered users.

Are there any good solutions to do that?

Come to think of one thing: it didn't come that sudden. I had a better look at the album and discovered that no user has managed to upload since the site migrated (but still the same host).

I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but no change.

Any ideas?

I suddenly started getting the message "No photo uploaded or photo too big" when trying to upload images.

So I tried to sort the problem out and discovered that I can't administer the module anymore.
When I click on
- My Album General Settings, or
- Add, Modify, and Delete Categories/Photos

All that happens is that that the page reloads.

Anyone with a solution?

I'm aware of that, but just making it a little bit more inconvenient would do it for me.

It's a request from some of the users on the site I'm maintaining.

Is there any way to prevent visitors to steal images from my album (which is myAlbum)?

When users get an email notification of a new post (or whatever) they get a link to that particular thread/post.

If they aren't already logged in, they have to login and then have to either click the link from within their email application again or search their way to the post.

Is there any way to login users automatically, e.g. with the help of cookies?

I would like to control the visibility of sub-menus!

I don't want an Anonymous User to see sub-menus like "submit article" or "submit photo" which he/she has no access to, but at the same time I want the same Anonymous User to see sub-menus for Tiny-D etc. where I have publically available articles.
Any suggestions how to accomplish this?

I have a solution to the two first:

Go to SYSTEM ADMIN->Templates. I would suggest you clone your template set and experiment on the clone.

Then choose System template, choose Edit system_block_mainmenu.html

Remove the following lines

<{foreach item=sublink from=$module.sublinks}>
<a class="menuSub" href="<{$sublink.url}>">
<{$sublink.name}>
</a>
<{/foreach}>

I also have a question on the same subject: I would like to control the sub-menus, depending on if the user is registered or not!
For instance, I don't want an Anonymous User to see sub-menus like "submit article" or "submit photo" and then get a message that he/she is'nt allowed to do so, but at the same time I want to use Tiny-D etc. with sub-menus.
Any suggestions?
