Hi all....

I have a XOOPS website on www.ikast3.org
but it's a closed-membership

I want my member can't edit their "Display Name" after they are succesfully approved by Admin. Is there anyway to do it ?

I know I can do it for a customized-field. But the one that I want is only "Display Name" --> default XOOPS's field.

Anyone know the tricks ?

Andy

Okay then, Thanks TottoBG !

It works now, when I add your suggestion entry.

But as long as I know, since XOOPS 2.2.x for user registration, it will use translation file on /modules/profile/language/englih/main.php and not /language/english/user.php ---> please CMIIW

Because I've searched on /language/english/user.php and there's the entry that I'm looking for, but with different constant. The constant is not _US_YOURACCOUNT but _PROFILE_MA_YOURACCOUNT.

Why my XOOPS 2.2.2 doesn't point to the right translation file ? Will it be fixed in the XOOPS 2.2.3 ???

Which version of XOOPS that you talking about ?
I'm using XOOPS 2.2.2 and there's only 46 lines in /language/english/user.php

and again, there's no "_US_YOURACCOUNT" entry on it.

Confusing....

Hi All...

I'm using XOOPS 2.2.2
I've change the content of user activation mail template. It works.....
But I'm still confuse about How to change the subject of the email ? The registered-user receive the email with subject "_US_YOURACCOUNT"

I can't find those entry in the language section of profile module, nor in system module. Anyone know how to change it ?

Another question, I want to send mass-email message to all of my registered-user through menu "Mail Users". But I want to add an image on my email. Is it possible ? If yes, how to do it ? Because I've tried using "<img>" tag or BBCode tag.....but it didn't work. Any clue ???

Hai All.....

We are planning to publish the indonesian translation of XOOPS to public. Should we upload our translated files to XOOPS official site or just put it on our site and make people download the translated XOOPS from there?

mmmm......... you can found that option on the "Edit Account" ???
Do you mean there's a coloumn for password change, together with all of the account's profile coloumn ? Why I can't found it on my own site ?

btw, the link works......
But I'm still confuse with my situation. I tried to find some setting on Admin Control Panel that could be related to password change permission. But I got no luck.

Hi all....
I've installed XOOPS 2.2.2 on my PC.
I registered a new user, call it "Test". I can logon using username and password. But when I wanted to change its password through "Edit Account", there's no option to change my current passsword.

The only way is I have to change Test's password through Administrator account. Why I can't change password through a registerd account itself ? Did I miss something here ?

Please help....

Is there any way to disable user in XOOPS (not delete it) ? Or how to prevent user (not group) from accessing any module ?
