I can't really figure out how I can set RSSC to feed new headlines every day, or every few hours.

The module is quite fast, compared to XHLD. But I can't figure out how to auto feed it.

And what is the Simple headline featurea anyway ?

Warning: include(/usr/home/burnout/domains/burnoutpc.com/public_html/include/common.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/burnout/domains/burnoutpc.com/public_html/mainfile.php on line 102

I made a .htaccess file, that shows the following code

errorDocument 404 /404.html

I also made a 404.html file, that has the following code

<html>
<script>
location = "http://www.burnoutpc.com";
</script>
</html>

Now this works great in Firefox, it redirects any user going to any broken link to the frontpage. But whenever I, let's say go to www.burnoutpc.com/thispagedoesnotexist

it simply gives me a standard server 404

The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Open the www.burnoutpc.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

HTTP 404 - File not found
Internet Explorer

btw. I won't try moved, i did that, and it messed up my previous installation of XOOPS :(

I looked around the internet to see how I could make a 404 error, since a lot of people are still drawn to an old module of my site, but that's not there anymore.

Now i got the 404 file working in firefox, it redirects nicely to the frontpage.

But it doesn't work in IE, where the original server 404 shows up.

Anyone know what's up?

Thanks

I made a custom 404 page that redirects to my frontpage, so that solves the problem :).

Thanks for the help though.

The Moved module screwed up my installation of xoops, so i won't be trying that again.

What redirection module do you guys advice me to use? I have many links to my old WFsection articles, but now it simply tells you that the selected module is not in use.

Is there some sort of module that will redirect the user back to the frontpage or anything? In a split second?
