No, only the "PM" module and "Extended Profiles" are included right now. Modules (there are a lot) must be downloaded seperately from the Module Repository.

I personly think it's a big mistake that the XOOPS distribution doesn't contain a at least one good content module (like news, WF-Channel, etc.).

That's exactly what I want, except in my case: There are no passwordfields! I can only change passwords using the link you gave me: changepass.php

Why do you see the passwordfields and I don't?
What XOOPS version do you use?

Thanks for your reply, but where do you change the password of your users? I even can't find this in the admin section!

Hope one of the developers reads this. Would be very logic to let users change their password form their profile, as we can here on the XOOPS site.
I think the new usermanagement is a bit confusing...

How can users (Xoops 2.2.2) change their password if they want to? I can't find this option anywhere...

Users can't enter a new password while editing their profile, or do I miss something? Here on my XOOPS I can change my password while editing my Profile. I would like this on my site too. Can I enable this option, or isn't this posible in 2.2.2 anymore?
Please help

Hi dimitris_s,

I use the same theme for my website and I also made a few changes to the top bar.
Look in the source for the TABLE with id="welcome"

replace everything between <tr> code goes here </tr>

with:

<tr>
      <
td class="side"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>r-left.gif" width="8" height="26" alt="" /></td>
      <
td align="left" valign="middle" class="center">
        <{if
$xoops_isuser}> <a href="<{$xoops_url}>">Home</a> | <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/myguestbook/">Guestbookboek</a> | <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/sitemap/">Sitemap</a> | <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/search.php">Search</a><{else}>
        <
center class="styleToegang">

Register <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/register.php">HERE</a> for a free account.
        </
center>
        <{/if}> <
span class="right"> <{if $xoops_isadmin}> | <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/admin.php" target="_self">Admin</a><{else}><{/if}></span></td>
      <
td align="right" valign="middle" class="center"><span class="right"><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/contact/">Contact</a></span> <{if $xoops_isuser}><span class="center"> | </span><a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php"><{$xoops_uname}></a><span class="right"> | <a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php?op=logout">Log out </a>&nbsp;<{else}><{/if}></span></td>
      <
td class="side"><img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}>r-right.gif" width="8" height="26" alt="" /></td>
    </
tr>

This is an example of how I did it. You can add your own links.

Success!

On a incorrect login the following message appears.
I want to get rid of the word "Succes", but I can't find it in the language files. Is it hardcoded somewhere? How can I remove it?

Perhaps this code will work and paste it somewhere in your theme.htm

<body>
<
form style="margin: 0px;" action="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php" method="post">
  <
input type="text" name="uname" size="12" onFocus="this.value=''" value="User Name" />
  <
input type="password" name="pass" size="12" onFocus="this.value=''" value='myxoops'/>
  <
input type="hidden" name="xoops_redirect" value="/index.php" />
  <
input type="hidden" name="op" value="login" />
  <
input type="submit" value="Login" />
</
form>
</
body>

No matter what I do, the PM button link doesn't show in my (webmasters) profile!
The PM link does show in profiles of other users. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
