Thanks for taking a look. I seems like it ought to be pretty simple, but I can't figure it out. I sure don't want people selecting any groups including the webmasters group.

I want to allow my members to join certain user groups without admin approval. I have been trying to add user group fields with the extended profile module in 2.2.3 but I can't seem to figure it out. It only seems to want to allow members to join any group including webmasters, etc. I just have a couple of groups that I want to allow them to join.

I have not been able to find help here but may have overlooked it. Can someone offer a simple tutorial for this. Thanks.

Would it be possible to set up a site with the various modules as sort of a dummy site to serve as the master site and then share information among 2 or 3 other sites? I have 2 sites I am wanting to share information between but fear messing up either database so I want to set up a 3rd XOOPS install with all the modules from the other 2 and use it as the master site for this module. I hope that makes some sense.

I am using both on a 2.2.3 site and they seem to work fine. These are two of the best modules ever developed. I have had some issues with Soapbox but it does not seem to work any differently under 2.2.x than it did under 2.0.x.

anybody have any ideas? My site has been going for almost 2 years and I have over 3 million hits this year. I had some members approaching 2,000 posts and they are disappointed to say the least.

I have been looking for that button in 2.2.3 but have overlooked it thus far uless it indeed does not exist. Any one have any thoughts on this of perhaps an sql script I could run to make the count right.

I recently upgraded to XOOPS 2.2.3 and CBB 2.30. Is this a possible problem with one of these?

I had something unusual tonight. I logged on to my site to find this question: Quote:

Sure enough all my users have been reset to 0 or even to negative numbers. This is a pretty major disappointment for some of them. Any ideas what caused this or what I can do?

I am using CBB 2.30 on two different sites. But I do not get a drop down menu for users on either site. I only get a link to their profile. I am not sure what the problem is. Any ideas?
