First point : FRXOOPS is not leaving ! We have opened our support to the CUUbe in addition of XOOPS Thant's all !

Quote:
My perspective is that the core team is doing the best they can, given the current limitations of time and resources.

The core team is dead since Onokazu has leaving the XOOPS project.
Before this the core team was a true team ! with weekly metting on MSN for speaking about fonctionality etc...

Skalpa do what he want ! not what the community want.
Since one year nothing !!!
I understand that it's a big work but HE MUST COMMUNICATE WHAT HE IS DOING RIGHT NOW !!!!

I spend major parts of my personnal free time for XOOPS since 2002 and I'm very angry with the actual situation.

WHY SKALPA IS NOT HERE ????? AND HERKO ????? WHO IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE XOOPS ORGANISATION ?
This is the first problem.

just a little precision... We (frxoops) are not leaving XOOPS but we open our support to XOOPS Cube which is the only true project alive today.
We lose our best members due to the lack of visibility and community spirit. Who can do something here ? Is it one guy right now how having the authority and the skills for giving a new way to the project ?
I know just one guy : Onokazu, the founder XOOPS.
He is the owner of the xoops.org domain and work with the japanese team.

It's just my opinion.

A big thanks to Herko and Skalpa...
It show the good spirit of these guys.
It's not Open Source but exactly the inverse.

Thanks to have killed XOOPS.

I have already a version with the WYSIWYG included.
It works with the latest tinyeditor module.
I finish it and post a new release in the dev repository

Yes I understand. It's a pity because they have restrict too much their services (quantity of memory for php, safe mode or something else)
If this is the case and if they don't want to offer a 'standard' php config. no other choice, you have to go away.
