I think that only works for modules? I guess i have to figure out a way to turn my set of wrapped html pages into a module?

cheers, tried this, but it just seems to show the sublinks no matter what still.

What id like to do is have a custom block that links to some html pages that i have wrapped with xoops.

Id like to make a menu system that has for example, just a link called Index

When people click that link id like it to expand in the block and show sublinks like this

Index
-Page1
-Page2
-Page3

etc etc


ive had a go by using the following code, but the sublinks are always shown in the block, i only want them to appear when the index link is clicked so that it doesnt clutter the page with links.

heres the code i tried

with that it displays the following all the time.

+Tutor Web
+Main Index
+page1
+page2
+page3


whereas id like it to initially only show
+Tutor Web
+Main Index

and not show the page1,page2 etc till Main Index is clicked. any ideas ?

Or, if you already have a website built in html and want to wrap it with XOOPS just make a new file in the root of your website folder

e.g htmlweb.php

and inside it put this

include("mainfile.php");
include("header.php");
opentable();
?>

<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" text="#000000">
<iframe src="http://yourdomain.com/!htmweb!/index.htm" width="100%" height="1420" name="Iframe Mysite">Iframe Mysite</iframe>
</body>

<?php
closetable();
include("footer.php");
?>



put the html website inside the !htmlweb! folder or whatever u want to call it and voila!

Alternativly the src=" bit above could be any url e.g www.google.com

Once thats done u can test it by going tohttp://yourdomain.com/htmlweb.php

to make a link to it just make a new block and make a hyperlink to the file in there

Ive got a few news feeds already on my site but im trying to add some feeds from one site that are .php files with xml inside them

e.g

http://www.falmusic.co.uk/concertrss091.php

when i put this in the headlines module it doesnt seem to load the xml. Ive tried each ISO setting etc, is there anything else i can try? It works fine for other normal .rss/.xml feeds but not this one which is .php :(

invision power board module + xoops 2.0.6 RC error!

Just tried to install this with XOOPS 2.0.6 RC and i get this error when trying to view my site

Warning [PHP]: main(/files/home2/iamcrunchie/kernel/handlerregistry.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file include/common.php line 86

replacing the common.php with the original seems to get the site back up and running again. Any ideas on how to get this module working with 2.0.6?

xoops+IPB module, how do u redirect where a user goes after login?

By default it seems to go straight to the Invision powerboard profile page after a user logs in, but id like it to go to the main sites home-page.

any ideas how?
if this has been answered already, sorry! i did search!
