My site is set up in just that mannor, and I have had no issues at all.

However, I did set it up that way from start, not sure of the difficulty in seperating them once the site is up and running..

Currently I am developing some proprietary modules for my site, and have a question.

is there a way to check for membership in a certain group?

such as having a special button only a member of the leaders group would see.

forgive me if this is posted on the wrong forum.

Thanks

if on a window's server, and using IIS, you need to goto the internet information services snapin and select the website,
right click, select properties->documents, then add index.php to the list

Hey all,
I have a question regarding which module to use for displaying photos on my site..

My site is a community of game playes.. ie Everquest, and what I would like is the ability for my registered members to upload screenshots of their characters from game and have them be displayed on the site..

Are there any modules that pop right out that would allow this?

thanks

Herko,

No, that is one of the other areas that does not work properly.

Does anyone here know IIS, is there a setting that would prevent javascript from working properly?

Greets go out to all the developers and such, wanted to say I really like the XOOPS system.

It seems I am having a problem on my site that I am developing.
Now please understand this is not the only place this problem has arisen but in the online block you can click 'more' to see who is online and where, this brings up a javascript, well mine does not and instead gives me a error on page error. I was thinking that my security settings on my browser were to tight, but the link works on the main XOOPS site. So now I am suspecting its a server setting issue.

my setup is a 2000 box running IIS.

Any help would be appreciated.

The site for your reference ishttp://blades.kd1zi.com

Thanks in advance for any help
