According to me this is not just a hard work but also is going to be like a revolution for xoops systems. Thank you all developers !

Still, I had some troubles while using it, i'm not sure if these are because of me or not, let me share my experience:

1- I think there should be an Options link in this block, i can't see it. I've checked the template of xim_tiny_footerbar and there seems that div is coded but it comes as display:none with no imagebutton to display it.

2- It says "There is a newer version" although the newest version is installed. I think this is because the system counts current version 0.991 as 0.99.

3- The more important thing here is, there are no "Preferences" link here. I've uninstalled and reinstalled XIM to get the Preferences link and bookmarked it just because of this.

4- The users list sometimes come empty, sometimes full. I don't know why. May be because i was working on the xim_tiny_footerbar template. Not sure. Besides, i've received some messages twice or three times from the sender.

5- And while checking the classes, i've seen a buddy class which has methods for creating a friendlist etc. Is this a coming feature or another thing i didn't see in this version?

6- A scrollbar for the users list is needed.

I will announce the new system to my members but i still plead if there is an advise on making thumbnails work with cbb 3.08, which were previously posted with newsbb 2.x

so does this mean, the previous images with thumbnails which were posted before the upgrade to newbb 3.08 won't be shown by the new system

and when they post a series of images with big sizes to the forum, it will take long time for loading them because they are no thumbnails in fact, they're just resized by the system..?

As i see it pops up the thumbnail image when you click on it here either...

This wasn't a problem with newbb 2.1

My system is Xoops 2.5 (which has recently been upgraded from 2.0.17)

and using CBB 3.08 (upgraded from NewBB 2.1)

The settings

Maximum Image Width,
Maximum Image Width for creating thumbnail,
Maximum Image Height for creating thumbnail

are all set to zero.

On the first day they were 600, but then i set them all to 0.

Now when the members try to use the codes from the free image share sites like:





When you click on the thumbnail, it pops up a window which shows the thumbnail again.

Any ideas to solve this problem?

I've tried it and it looks promising, i appreciate your efforts although i won't be able to use it in my site, until it has a "blocking" or "being invisible" option.

And for a note,the icons next to the usernames weren't shown in my try. They were seen as images without image links in the html codes either.

(i'm using xoops 2.5 and tried it with Chrome and Opera)

oh ok i've found it... i've discovered the setting text of that was not shown because of language file problem.

for those who'll have the same problem in the future: It's above "Check templates for modifications ?" in the Admininistration Panel/System/General Settings form. Select "Yes".

I mean those messages which say "Thank you for logging in" or "Thank you for your submission" etc at the top of the pages.

I don't know how but they're turned off now and those "welcome" and "thank you" messages are displayed by user.php like old versions did.

I couldn't find where its settings are in.
