Thanks Mith!
Because of a re-install the sequence of modules was srewed up, so the xoopscomments wasn't compatible anymore.
Great job!

When I try to add a center-column block on my homepage with the recent comments I get this fatal error with php debug switched on:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/oilsjter/public_html/gent/modules/system/blocks/system_blocks.php on line 381

Debug switched off shows a blank page.
I'm using 2.2.2 without hacks.
Any hints to solve this?

Did you clear template_c after adding the code to theme.html?

Yep, no difference.
It is strange, because I solved this problem on earlier editions of newbb2. Other suggestions?

Delete templates, and regenerate them.

That should fix it.

Nope

Hi, I encountered a problem that certainly was solved on this XOOPS board but I can't find it back. It's about the drop downs in newbb2/CBB that stay static in stead of dynamic. Could someone show me the right way to solve it, here's a screenshot.
Thanks!

Cause newbb2 does not work correctly in XOOPS 2.2 (
see this topic), I want to swith to CBB but of course without losing posts, cats, forums. Does the previous answer works? Or is there a better solution?
Thanks in advance!

Hello Xoopsers,

Obviously I was too eager to upgrade my 2.0.13 XOOPS site to the new 2.2 because things went wrong. I'll go step by step what I did:

Quote:

Upgrade to XOOPS 2.2
Enable PHP debug
Go to your administration area => system module => preferences => general settings and enable PHP debug

So for no prob ;)
Because of the upgrade I closed the website too.

Quote:

Run pre-upgrade script

I skipped this one, because I couldn't find a pre-upgrade script.

Quote:

After uploading all files in the patch archive, access www.example.com/xoopsupdate.php, replacing www.example.com with your site's URL. This will show error messages and no real content, but don't worry, just proceed to next step
Reload the page
Press the submit button to update the system

I guess I reloaded one time to much because the page with the submit button vanished and I was automaticly redirected to the admin login page (because I closed my site). So I haven't been able to push the submit button.

What are my problems:
- I can't reach the xoopsupdate.php page because I'm always redirected to the admin login page
- I can't login as admin (!!!) although the correct password
- I uploaded my backup but I get a blank screen as my homepage (admin.php is reachable though)
- when I try to redo the whole process i get teh same result: no working site and redirection to the admin login page
- I'm concerned about the MySQL database, I hope it's not damaged

Help would be wonderfull!
Zjerre

Btw: this is the website

There is no update to the auto login hack past 2.0.10 as of yet.

Correction: check the Dutch XOOPS Support, you can find there the latest auto login hacks. For 2.0.13 this url.

But I still don't understand why this isn't a built-in-option in the core.
