So....how's this coming along? 1.5RC3 is still that latest thing, and Soapbox is one of my favorite mods. Just wondering if it's going to continue or not.

I don't think there is a "best" because they tend to offer different things. I used to use xCGal when sidebreak was under xoops, but I never had any problems with it.

Is it set in safe mode? I noticed that it only happened on the host that used Ensim with Safemode on. I've never had this problem with CPanel, though it could do it to that too I guess.

I too have had this problem, but not just with xcgallery. To me, it seems that sometimes when a script sets the permissions of something by itself (ie. the pics uploaded), than for some reason you can't delete via FTP. If you have CPanel, you should be able to go into File Manager and delete them. If you use Ensim, you can use it's file manager and Force a delete.

Happy Birthday Monty!

Hey hyperpod, can users actually upload a photo or is it just offsite linking? It would be nice to allow them to upload a specific file size photo, and also have it resized to what ever specs the admin has setup via the admin control panel. That, and maybe the possibility for short urls? Like, instead using:

http://www.hyperpod.net/modules/profiles/index.php?op=view&pid=4

using:

http://www.hyperpod.net/modules/profiles/artistname

The ony easy way I know of to do this would require a mod rewrite in an htaccess file to do it. This might make things a bit easier to remember for the users...simpler if we could figure a way to do it as:

http://www.hyperpod.net/profiles/artistname

Just a thought. :)

With what you've done so far, I'm starting to run out of ideas

Thanks for messaging me at Sidebreak about this. I was in the process of redoing the site that I wanted this for and since it wasn't around yet, I was going to do the site without xoops....but now, I'm going right back once this is ready to go. You are my new hero.

I updated to the newest Soapbox, but I had to manually put all of the articles back in. Anytime I upgraded, it just screwed it all up. In fact, I think I dumped my comments at the same time during the update. =/

The vote problem...I have no clue as to what's up with that. I even dumped my vote data into the table and nothing. It wouldn't read them at all. I may mess with it tomorrow and try to find something out. If I do, I'll post somewhere else, to quit bumping this one up.

I'm still trying to figure out some weird bugs in that seem to be popping up though. For instance...pages coming up blank for no reason. They'll show fine for a while, but then become blank out of no where after a while.

Edit: Fixed that problem. I forgot that there was a permissions section seperate from the XOOPS groups section. Gah!
