What version of XOOPS and PHP are you using?

Unfortunately, sometimes you can use a theme for years, but due to changes in technology, it might be outdated, and not work correctly anymore.

One thing that you can also try is to update the "System" module in Admin, and see if this helps.

This is very strange. Could you clear the Cache (using Maintenance in the Admin) and try it again?

Try to download again the XOOPS 2.5.7 , and replace the files that are shown as invalid, update the "System" module in Admin, and then try again.

Which exactly module were you trying to install? Maybe it is not compatible with XOOPS 2.5.7?.

Personally, I don't use re-Captcha, because it was too easy for the spammers to read it. It was better to use our regular Text captcha.

Can somebody else help him?

Very nice work! I like it.

The only suggestion that I would make is to keep it consistent across modules: in all modules you have the title on a black background, except News, which is black on white.

Did you see the recent tutorial on converting themes to XOOPS?

Where did you get the RC9 version? The one I am currently testing, and which is here, is NewBB 4.33 RC8.

And I had no problems in locking a topic here. I just locked the topic "PHP 5.6.0 released".
You can see the topic with the "locked" icon:

As a Admin, you can still post there, but for a regular user, it is locked.

I've made some test with newbb 4.33 RC9 and have an issue. In this version it seems impossible to lock a thread...
is there an easy solution to solve this ?

My Simple theme and site

Hi Guys

I'm no theme maker, coder or anything else like that but in my spare time i have developed a theme for no reason what so ever other than to help someone else and to learn how to do it.
I'd appreciate some help and some direction so hopefully one day it can go in the repository.

The website is here: http://www.fore.me.uk (not a working website but as i have been messing with the theme i have added stuff to it.)

The core idea was to give it a punchy modern looking theme but keeping its functionality as simple as possible.

Criticize it, give me suggestions or any help with any bugs you may find.

I am testing it live now on this Website, so hopefully it will be released very soon.

In the meantime, you can also test the Beta 3 version . Please note: this is only for XOOPS 2.5.7. Make also sure that you copy the "/vendor" folder to your "/xoops_lib" folder, as Publisher will be looking for it.
