Hi guys,

Did we get to the bottom of sharing themes and documenting this really nice work?

Theme sharing and documentation of work like this could help understand the flexibility of XOOPS for those with little knowledge/experience like me. I am really interested with it since I am facing a few esthetical issues with xbootstrap + NewBB.

Also to me the latest version of NewBB was 4.33 RC10 but it seem that ocaholic is using NewBB 4.4 Alpha 1, where can I find this version? Is this a stable version?

Can you do me a favor? Can you email me exact info about:

- your PHP version
- your XOOPS version and the configuration (i.e. if you use any other modules)
- Windows or Linux?
- export of Publisher "items" table from the DB, before and after you edit the article

I'll send you PM with my email address.

I want to finish it this weekend, and release it next week...

It's better, but not quite right.

So after creating a new article, I went user side and edited the article. The original remains, but anything added or changes made revert back to original after save.

Comments do not show at all.

Actually it isn't any better. You just added the loss of comments to the trouble list.
I didn't account for the cache time. The article still gets eaten.
I'm going to have to find a better solution.
What exactly are you using here?

XOOPS NewBB 4.33 RC-10 available for testing

We would like to finalize NewBB module for XOOPS 2.5.7.1

Therefore we're making the current version NewBB 4.33 RC-10 available for testing.

You can download it from GitHub:

https://github.com/XoopsModules25x/newbb/releases

Please help us with testing, and most importantly, go ahead and fork it, and help us with development. This will be also a good practice for you on how to work with GitHub!

This is a testing and bug fixing phase, i.e. we don't anticipate any new features being added. But we would like to make it as solid as possible.

This release, as well as upcoming releases for all other modules, are focusing on and will be certified for XOOPS 2.5.7.1 and PHP 5.4+

OK, this has been fixed - the flag is now set as "1", i.e. "submitted", i.e. the Admin will need to approve it after the edit.

It's not the date, it's the "status" - it seems like Publisher is changing the status of the article to "-1" after editing in the frontend. I'll let you know once I fix it and commit to GitHub.

Can you check the dates being saved in your DB, just to confirm it?

The date should be saved as GMT in all cases. It's possible that Publisher is not correctly converting back the "edited" articles.

I'll investigate it, but you can help by giving me more date from your end...
