it is a pleasure to see my little project interest.
it's impressive to see my name appear in the list of developer of xoops.
since I have not stopped working on Themebuilder whenever I had some free time, I have completely rewritten the code.
Now I'm pretty happy with the result.
I'll make a video to show you where I am.
I still need some time to finish.

only replace line 99 "position: 'absolute'," by "position: 'relative'," . I was only wondering, because I know no (xoops) template, where this could work

Probably because most of the newspapers are placing photos in the top-left corner?

can some one tell me, why the position for item pics will be defined as "absolute" in js/jquery.popeye-2.0.4.js
this (in combination with top:0 left:0) puts the pics always on top left corner
is there a special reason?

I would:
a) login to the Website (it makes things faster)
b) copy via FTP all the files from 2.5.7.1 (from the /htdocs folder) over to your site
c) copy over the folder /upgrade
c) run XOOPS from the /upgrade folder (i.e. go to http://mysite.com/upgrade)
d) after this is successful, the program will guide to the Admin, and will ask you to run the update of the System module - do it
e) update also the other modules (PM, Profile, Protector)
After that you should be ready to go....

I am about ready to spit nails.
I have 2.5.6, so I use the version 2.5.6 to 2.5.7 (figure I would do this first, then run the update for .1).
I am so far stuck at the database option. Since I already have a database (duh, upgrade?), I don't need a new one, but it can't create one, cause one is already there, and I can't move forward.
Any help would be appreciated.

FYI - I have made few updates and have submitted them to Olivee on GitHub.
Hopefully, he'll receive them and will take a look at them, and hopefully we'll move forward with this project. There are still some warnings, but I'll look at them after we (hopefully) reconnect with Olivee and see where we are...
I would love to have the Theme Builder as an option for XOOPS 2.5.8, and then see how could we merge it into XOOPS 2.6.0 (but this would have to be coordinated with Eduardo and his "Presentation Layer" that he is working on...
