hi,
while waiting for the "better" version
there is 2 bug for the search.php which you modify
that is when include the mainfile.php and the searchform.php
i think you put it as include(mainfile.php) instead of include (../../mainfile.php)..same to searchform.php too

OK, this is mildly strange. I found this image in the /xoops/html/images directory.

Looks like the button is there ready to be pushed, but there's no way to push it.

It has been brought to my attention that the hack doesn't properly work when used with custom sessions.... This is because the cookie used is set during the login process.... if the user doesn't login (because the session is stored) then the cookie doesn't get set. I'm going to work on a solution to this, along with another "enhancement." I'll post here when I get something.

1 more thing about the main menu. how do i have the link goto where i want it to go? like wheni click i get a "Your Page Cannot Be Displayed" because insted of going to suaotwsquad.com/babstats it goes to suaotwsquad.com/xoops/modules/suaotwsquad.com/babstats

If I understand your question... that's what the "weight" column in the block admin is for.. the higher the number, the lower the priority and lower on the page the block will be displayed...

Ua, maybe I got it wrong, it sure didn't look right. Could you post the old line and the new line so that I can insure that I am really working on the same line 80 etc? I assume that is the fault becuase it still doesn't work for me. Thanks

this is done for dynamic entries by adjusting the relative "order" of a given module on the module admin page...

In the template for system_block_mainmenu.html after the line:


Add the following..

{DESCRIPTION}

Wash, Rinse, Repeat...


If you are linking to something, under XOOPS you can do something like the following..
<{$xoops_url}>/modules/cjaycontent/index.php?id=2

The only downside of this is that it doesn't "mix" w/ your other entries in the menu...
