Hello folks,
I have tried most of the content modules but none frame external content/sites into the center container. X-Center opens it in a separate window. Is anyone using something successfully for this purpose under XOOPS 2.5.5?

Thanks

try fm content
don't forget to install also the safe path section of fm content module
or if you want a frame of entire page use
iFrames

Looking at this subject line a day later, I didn't realize it sound so negative.... like jumping through hoops was par for the course with XOOPS, it is not that at all. I just want to take a moment to reinforce how much I actually LIKE XOOPS.

Thanks for the module suggestion. I tried the fmcontent module from the SVN and it would not even allow me into the module install screen (it hung up in a blank screen). I think I used the trunk, not sure if that was correct. Are you actually using it with X2.5.5?

Yes I am using 2.5.5 xoops make sure you put the safe path files in the correct place if you are having a white screen
also check the sql file and make sure it is changed from TYPE to ENGINE

Followed the iframe module link and it was simple with none of the bells or whistles, it works and does exactly what is needed. Funny this did not show up on a keyword search using word "content". No I didn't think of using "iframe".

Mamba:
Give MikeShane a rank promotion for this (like the honorary Phd. sort of)

:)
Thanks Mike
