Using XOOPS 2.5
I created a simple image based URL custom menu block using a simple html two column table, the left table column containing the image icon and the right a generic description. Images were assigned the same href URL of the corresponiding link in the system main menu (which I have disabled for the custom one).

Icons and description displayed fine within the block which is in the left column of the page.

Clicking on any image successfully opened the module of its URL in the center column.

But once the module service opened, the icons (but not the descriptions) in the menu block disappeared.

Can someone shed some light on the reason this is happening?
The custom menu block was set for all groups, all pages and positioned at the top of the left column.

Use absolute URL's in your block as the base URL of the block changes with the module displayed (active).

Thats all it took. Now images are solid across all pages. THANKS ghia!!
