Hello

I have just installed xoops for the second time. During both installations there was no styling during the installation process. And after installation the themes do not work either. They show up in the admin panel, so I can choose between which one I want, but the site has no styling. I have included a screenshot to show you:

The styling is missing from the installation menus and the site once installed.

What the heck is happening here?

Thanks

It could be a problem with your theme, or your PC doesn't have enough memory.

Try the Zetagenesis theme, and if this has the same problem, try to close some applications or reboot your PC,

It's nothing to do with my PC. The theme just doesn't load, whichever theme I pick.

I have installed the whole thing again, this time using Godaddy's automated installation service and the same problem occurs. No styling. It's very frustrating. Perhaps it's a server-side problem

Try to install manually 2.4.5, and then run a file check to make sure that you have all the required files.

It's possible that some files are missing.

There are two possibilities. The first, as Mamba said, not all files have been uploaded to the server.
The second possibility is the lack of pre-arranged access rights (chmod 777) to a directories. Make sure that you did the installation instructions:

Make the directory: xoops_data / writable;
Create (if not Already present) and make the directories:
xoops_data / caches /
xoops_data / caches / xoops_cache /
xoops_data / caches / smarty_cache /
xoops_data / caches / smarty_compile /

writable.
