We have recently downloaded and installed the module FlashGames 1.01, but when you install it is not compatible with XOOPS 2.3.3b

We wanted to know if there are any compatible with XOOPS version 2.3.3b or if there were any other similar module.

It should run with 2.3.3, but there might some incompatibilities with your current MySQL version. See this.

Thanks for answering, we managed to install it but we have encountered a warning message protector module when uploading a flash game:

UPLOAD Attempt to upload image file Camouflaged shape_smash.swf

You know why that happens?

Protector tries to determine width and height of certain mime/file types (as the .swf in question) to see if a so called image file is not a disguise of a script file. It does this by using the PHP getimagesize() function.
Why this fails on your site may have two causes:
- inadequate version or installed libraries of PHP for supporting the decoding of .swf
- multiple images/dimensions in the image file.

I assume it is safe to use the proposed games on the game site and you may take the risk of temporary turning Protector or that particular upload check off during the time needed to upload the game. Other possibility may be doing the upload and install of the game via FTP.
