X-Forum does not show in 'add blocks'

I have the latest version of Frameworks, x-forum and xoops, when I try to add an xforum block nothing shows. The options are there in Blocks Administration (recent posts, authors etc) but when you set it up, nothing appears.

I did contact the creator however I honestly cannot afford the cost of tech service.

I tried it on a fresh install of XOOPS and the same error is there.

Latest version is not a number.

Is the X-Forum itself working correctly?
Are blocks from other modules showing?
What happens, if you set the X-Forum block to the same parameters as a working block?
Do you get error messages in debug mode?

X-Forum 4.06 (final)
Frameworks 1.35
Other module blocks showing - yes
If replace in a working block - doesn't work
Error messages in debug mode - None

Also cannot make any topics sticky or
Also Admin cannot remove a topic prefix once it has been set, don't know I'm supposed to be able to that...

I'm got the same problem!
And I am trying to finger it out... I've got 100+ users who are not happy with me right now.

I wish the creator or someone would tell us how to correct these issues. Its really important when you have a Forum based site to let users see the latest postings right away etc. At this juncture, if I could find another mod that allowed me to import all my posting etc, I would change mods.
