Hi guys,
im trying to install XOOPS (latest version) on a windows server, namely
PHP Version: PHP 5.x
IIS Version: IIS 7.0

and i set the root and other folders to readable and writable, installed manually, and all goes well .. untill login.

on login, states user.php is not found on server, looks like none of the usual files kept in root folder are there. Anyone know why, or can I copy from another installation some of the files over to the root directory.

user.php is part of the installation package, so if it's not there, you probably didn't copy all the required files.

Compare your directory with the /htdocs in "Installation package", and see which other file are missing. You might use a tool such as "Beyond Compare"

HAHAHA, what an elementry mistake.

the file manager on my server shows only 25 items per page, i copied all of them not realizing there was a second page.

how simple. thank you, problem fixed.
