Is there any easy way to get a center block above the center left and center right block? Although I've set the weight correctly, the center block keeps showing beneath the center left and right.

I don't want them permanently below the center block though, so is this possible without the adjustment of the theme file?

Most XOOPS themes display centre blocks above the centre-left and centre-right blocks, which sounds like what you want.

What theme are you using?

Are you sure you have the block positions set correctly in blocks>admin? Make sure you've used the middle radio button on the top row.

Custom theme.

In the theme file, there's the centerC blocks above the center block. though.

What happens if you switch to the XOOPS default theme?

If that's okay then you need to look at your custom theme's theme.html

There are some themes that have the "LCR" feauture. It's the easiest way to make modifications like the one you want. Most themes that have used the morphogenesis theme.html code might have this.

The order is set at the top of the head of the theme.html in these lines:

<{* Center blocks display order valid values are:  lrc (left right centerlcr (left center rightclr (center left right)    *}>
    <{
assign var=theme_top_order value=clr}>
    <{
assign var=theme_bottom_order value=clr}>

but it can't be just inserted into any theme, the html would need to follow some of the parameters morphogenesis has. If your theme has this, it would be changing the "lrc" top value to "clr".

Otherwise the only way is editing the theme.html and carefully modifying the blocks default positioning.
