This morning, when I went to reply to a thread or post a new one, I got a blank white screen.

I go into the admin area and enable PHP Debug and went back to that blank white page and found the following.....

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/greenm/public_html/class/xoopsform/formeditor.php on line 73
Notice [PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 252 of 255 bytes in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 206
Notice [PHP]: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file class/xoopslists.php line 189
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.php line 78
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: name in file class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.php line 78
Warning [PHP]: array_multisort(): Array sizes are inconsistent in file class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.php line 82
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file class/xoopseditor/xoopseditor.php line 111

We upgraded from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 last night and all seemed like it worked well, although I never tried posting.

If you need server info (software versions, etc.), let me know and I'll get that to you.

Hi,

Which version of Frameworks are you using...... 1.10 or 1.20?

1.10.

Does 1.20 fix this or something?

Reason why I didn't update that was because upgrading seemed like a nightmare last time. I was getting errors despite copying those 2 or so files that are required (got "locale too old" errors even after copying those files -- I still don't remember what I did to fix it, because I was randomly guessing at stuff and got it to work after about 3 hours).

Frameworks 1.10 is the one to use with CBB3.08....... "issues" have been reported with v1.20.

Hmm..... I'm at a loss to help as I use 2.0.17, but an issue with the upgrade to 2.2.5 seems a logical conclusion. Can anyone else help, please?

I have an update for you.

I upgraded Frameworks to 1.20 (I did this before I saw your message) and I now get this (and only this....less errors than the previous time):

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getinstance() in /home/greenm/public_html/Frameworks/xoops22/class/xoopsform/formeditor.php on line 30
Notice [PHP]: unserialize(): Error at offset 252 of 255 bytes in file modules/statistics/include/hitcounter.php line 206

Xoops is 2.2.5 and Frameworks is 1.20.

I did have problems with editing someone's profile, but it seems like that problem has been fixed.

In addition, I have tried going back to 2.2.4 and I still get the errors (even after updating the system module).

Hey, I got the same problem.

It happened to me after I updated CBB

I'm going as far as to switch to SMF but I was wondering if I could Downgrade(Upgrade) to XOOPS 2.0.17

Is that easy? I can't find any info on it....

PLEASE HELP!!!
I already blew away my forum so....

And for petes sake, why isn't the Avatar Upload thing working on the Xoops.org website? I get a blank page....

I've been an advocate for XOOPS for years, but something needs to be done.

People need to get pumped up and do something about gettings XOOPS up to date.

i think upgrading from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5 is not that easy.
the core itself has not problem, but IMO the issue come from modules you installed in 2.2.4

as for Framewroks you should delete Frameworks/xoops22 folder for 2.2+

Check the Memory allocated to it in php.ini as it uses extra then the standard settings...
