I wish that this message convey a certain lesson for us all XOOPS users. I've been using XOOPS for almost 4 years now. In fact, i am telling my students and other website designers to use XOOPS in all their website projects. I used Mambo and Joomla before, then suddenly shifted to Drupal, but i decided to stay longer in XOOPS because of their support and the community as well.

There was an intrusion in some of my websites named "Exodus" he made to replace some titles maybe because he saw the database password and username. I was alarmed regarding his intrusion, and i would like to thank him or giving me such alarm that i need to upgrade the said version. But i hope, that the XOOPS community as well as any XOOPS expert user must understand that webdevelopment is not an easy task for anyone who is in this area. How i wish "Database intrusion" is not the only way of alarming the website developer using xoops. I know that you guys are already capable of doing it, and there are lots of XOOPS Experts out there, and i appreciate and salute your talent in improving the XOOPS opensource program. The reason why i stay in XOOPS it's because of you guys, who truly support the XOOPS community. Some of my clients do not know how to upgrade, and they already know that i used XOOPS in their website. I am afraid they would question the stability of the XOOPS because of this intrusion. I am affected, and the XOOPS community.

Again, XOOPS experts, i salute you, i know your capaility. The only thing i don't understand is why some XOOPS experts(users) try to invade our database, where in fact they already knew that they are actually capable of doing it..

I will continue to use XOOPS in my projects. Because i believe, XOOPS is still the best Open Source Proram.

Regards and more power to you all
