Hi I am new to edit the themes, can anyone help me in how I would do to edit the default theme to look like this.

Tthere are three gif images, with exampels how I would like the site to look.

Would you say that it is easy to do so I can do it by myself, or is it best to pay someone to do it?

Sorry nobody got to you about this sooner.

From the screenshots you shared, it looks like the site is using a mildy modified version of the default theme. From what I can tell from the screenshots, it looks like the designer simply removed the table cell below the header and did a find and replace to change the colors in style.css. All in all, I'd say you could achieve the same results in a couple hours if you are familiar with basic XTHML and CSS.
