user-specific (not group) file management module

I need a way to allow users to upload and manage files that are private to them. So no one else can view or download. I also need a way to designate a "Manager" user that is allowed to upload and view user files of Users they "manage".

Is there anything like this?

no promises a wild stab in the dark- but user page might do the trick...and for a manager you could possibly create a user group for a specific person to have access to 'manage' that module.

That would mean creating a group for every user? There could be thousands of them.

I am in desperate need of this for my project as well.

I (the admin) need to give different access to files to different users. The users can not see each others files.
The files are highly confidential.

Any ideas? There will be hundreds of users so hundreds of groups is not possible

Invision File Manager may suit your requirements. See my comments under 'Full description' in the repository. Works a treat in XOOPS 2.0.13.2.

close but no. this module does not use the folder protection based on their XOOPS login.

anyone else have ANY ideas?
