We want a database e.g. mysql. (1)Does XOOPS have modules for creating database? The database that can store data that we used. If there is no modules for creating a database, (2)can we use MySQL for linkage with xoops?
Lastly,(3) we want to create a database that can link with the modules of xoops. Urgent!

Thank you for your attention!

Xoops only works with MySQL and just support mysql.
all modules have tablaes and connect to MySQL and all data store in mysql.

if you try it what is your problem?

There are some modules that also let you create customised forms for entering information into the database like Formulize/formulaire (I forget which is more recent). Or you could just work through myPHPAdmin - which is available as both a XOOPS module or standalone script.

When you install XOOPS there are fields to fill in with details about connecting to your MySQL database. Fill in the correct details, and a name for your database - if it doesn't exist XOOPS will create it.

It's all in the documentation (link on the left).
