Check which url is in mainfile.php (including www. or not?) and set it to the correct type the site is actually using.
To elaborate a bit:I assume you can call your site using
http://www.sitename.ext and also sitename.ext.
However XOOPS uses either one of these depending of which one you set it up for. So what happens is actually:
For this example we are assuming your site is configured for
www.sitename.ext)
[size=x-small]
- user goes to the adress
sitename.ext- logs in (cookie/session applied to
sitename.ext) and XOOPS loads the next page (now using
www.sitename.ext instead since your site is configured for this url)
- it checks and the user is not logged in to
www.sitename.ext and redirects him as anonymous to the mainpage (using
www.sitename.ext)
- user logs in again and it works since this time he starts from
www.sitename.ext instead of only
sitename.ext[/size]
Of course this could be exactly the other way around depending on your mainfile.php settings for XOOPS_URL.
So you should create a redirect for one of the two adresses.
