Hi
I use article 096 module, which is realy great but gives me real pain, when I gives anonymous right to view anyone of the blocks
then I receive following error message:
Fatal error: Class 'XoopsGroupPermHandler' not found in
/xoops/modules/article/include/functions.php(132) : eval()'d code on line 2

I have tried everything reinstall, delete the cache even tried to learn php or chinese and still the same error, that is this kind of chalenges I just love, the more, that as it seems, I cannot solve it by myself, which means I have to ask YOU to help me.

When I reinstall the whole module and then update it, the following errors appears in debugger:

Notice: Undefined variable: sql in file /modules/article/include/functions.php(132) : eval()'d code line 748
Notice: Undefined variable: sql in file /modules/article/include/functions.php(132) : eval()'d code line 749

and then:
SELECT cat_id FROM xoops_art_category WHERE cat_id IN (2)
Error number: 1065
Error message: Query was empty
DELETE xoops_art_artcat FROM xoops_art_artcat LEFT JOIN xoops_art_category AS aa ON xoops_art_artcat.cat_id = aa.cat_id WHERE (aa.cat_id IS NULL)

the strange thing is, only three blocks - article, categories and topics do not work, the rest is ok, I think I am getting nearer to the solution, bravo to myself.

finaly I solved the problem, the only thing I needed to do was to reinstall xoops, I am realy happy, I did not have to reinstall xp or internet :) The problem seems to be connected with corrupted theme.
still just after reinstallation of XOOPS and article, when I have updated article the following error messages occured -
Notice: Undefined variable: sql in file /modules/article/include/functions.php(132) : eval()'d code line 748
Notice: Undefined variable: sql in file /modules/article/include/functions.php(132) : eval()'d code line 749
so it seems that there is something wrong with the source

PHP notices are not critical, just indications of code that may be improved.

maybe not critical but very much fatal and indicating a lot of time spend on looking for solution (expecially when one does not know php and one does not know)

I got this same error upgrading our test site from 2.0.15 to 2.0.16. We don't have articles installed. If I put the mainfile from the clean 2.0.16 install in the install comes up but when I put our existing mainfile in there and go anywhere (including the upgrade directory so I can finish the upgrade I get this error).
