I am having a few problems with CBB 3.04 and can't resolve them at present.

I have CBB 1.13 in which everything seems to work, but I'm concerned about using it on a production site with it being an early version.

Can anyone recommend a stable version more recent than 1.13 but earlier than 3.04... and also say where I can get it.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.14 or 2.0.13.2.

Peekay,

I found CBB 3.02 to be relatively stable. See here for more information and to download.

I am not in any way saying this will work 100% with your system, this is just an opinion based on my usage and I will not be held responsible if it doesn't work for you

Too late. I have already sent my lawyer a copy of your post

Thx for the link. I have since found CBB 1.16. Is that good or bad?

Uh-oh

I would try 3.02 and see what happens. I had trouble with some other versions of CBB, but 3.02 worked fine.

Earlier versions may not work well in regards to security & performance.

Many thx. I have 3.02 and installing now.

er... actually that's not quite true. 5 mins have passed and I only have 5% of 1.2 Mb from XOOPS China. Do you know if there is a mirror site for downloads?

Thx msdana, but I have a copy now (from Spanish XOOPS site I think).

CBB installs o.k. and looks fine, but I have same problem with the 'new' (to me) pop-up window used for allocating moderators that I had with 3.04. It just won't work.

I select a user, click the 'Add' button and nothing happens. My selection isn't transferred to the underlying window. All the permissions seem o.k. The user has admin rights for the module in Xoops.

I thought it might be a register_globals issue (off on my setup), but I have been told by another user that they have globals 'off' and it works for them.

I am testing this on a PC with IIS, so maybe it's a Windows/PC/server thing.

Maybe it's me.

Peekay,

I reviewed my websites and I can't replicate the problem that you are having. I checked several sites with the following setup:

Site 1: CBB 3.0, IIS 5.0, and register_globals OFF

Site 2: CBB 3.04, IIS 6.0, and register_globals OFF

Site 3: CBB 3.02, UNIX, and register_globals ON

hmmm, which reminds me I need to make sure all my sites are up to date

I'm trying to help.....

Solved - the problem (for me) was Firefox (rev 1.7.5).

It works perfectly in Internet Explorer. I'll try Firefox on the Mac later today to see if it is common.

Thx for helping.
