I posted a while back about using XOOPS for a membership site. You were right. I was finally able to make things work. I won't say how many hours (weeks) spent to figure things out nor how much hair was pulled in the process (mine, not my hubby's ), not to mention the hacks made, but it is actually possible and looks pretty decent if I do say so myself. So, thanks gestroud for your helpful module list and encouragement when I first started this process. Thanks to the XOOPS development team and the module creators and generous people who tried to help me when I was stumped.

Just to note - I tried Joomla twice in the past for some personal projects and each time, I just couldn't get it configured the way I wanted to. I'm glad I chose XOOPS for this project as I know there would have been no way I could have created this site in Joomla or any other CMS for that matter.
