Using makepdf function in other publishing modules.

I have popnblog module installed and would like to add a makepdf function and icon in each blog view, is there a way I can do this? If yes, which tempplate page should I add it in? I would like to add in other modules that publish articles and news items. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
